After two years of writing, editing, and promoting, I am proud to join my lifelong love and co-author Andi Ashworth in the release of our book, Why Everything That Doesn't Matter, Matters So Much: The Way of Love in a World of Hurt.

To purchase, multiple links to retailers are provided below.

If you're someone who has supported us along the way, a huge thanks. If you're just finding out about the book, come on, join in!

We've written a collection of letters to Christians and spiritual seekers who think and care deeply about the state of the world and their own backyard. The overriding theme of our book is this: No person, place, or part of life is too small to matter—this means you and your hopes and dreams.

Here's just a taste of what our book leans into:

We explore culture care and making, from the kitchen to the concert hall and offer our thoughts on nurturing and improving the quality of life, locally and globally, no matter our vocations.

We share our conviction that love and hospitality, expressed in marriage, friendship, citizenship, and every kind of work, paid and unpaid, is the only trustworthy antidote to cynicism, fear, exhaustion, and division.

We reveal our much-studied, and hard-won theologies of imagination and creativity—those that have provided us with a framework for the life described above. Specifically, lots of help with the idea of vocation in general, hospitality as a way of life, and the role of the artist in the world.

And, we tell the story behind our decades of work with The Art House in Nashville and the privilege playing a small role in popular music history.

There's so much more . . . but this is good start. If you scroll down further you'll see a graphic of the table of contents.
